About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide delegated nursing care and individualised case management under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring precise documentation of all client-related interactions. You will deliver holistic care that aligns with Consumer Directed Care principles, and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective care delivery. You will participate in the development and review of care plans to meet client needs and support Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) requirements, while adhering to relevant legislation and organisational policies.

Responsibilities include:

• Promotes and delivers holistic care aligned with Consumer Directed Care principles, focusing on client needs and rights through assessment, prevention, early detection, referral, and health promotion activities.
• Participates in the development and review of care plans to ensure they meet client needs and support Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) requirements.
• Delivers nursing care in adherence with relevant legislation and organisational policies, including common law, Commonwealth, state laws, and standards.
• Provides delegated nursing care and individualised case management for clients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

About You

To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:

• Diploma required; Nursing Science, Healthcare is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
• Minimal experience as a nurse in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Enrolled Nurse (EN) Certification is prescribed.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Care Service Management, Clinical Practices and Standards, Legal & Regulatory Compliance and Patient Case Management skills.
• Excellent communication, adaptive thinking, planning and prioritisation, and cross-functional team working skills.

The Ashley, a 65-bed home situated in Reservoir, just 11km north of the CBD. The Ashley has a real family feel, is only a few minutes’ walk from High Street, and around 10 minutes' walk from Reservoir station.
